In 1994, Filing Scale founded the LTS Scale Corp. as a separate business entity specializing in the design and manufacture of precision mobile scales and weighing systems. Since inception, LTS Scale Corp. has realized significant growth and gained widespread recognition as one of the industry's leading suppliers of state-of-the-art precision mobile scales.

The company features a wide variety of high quality industrial scales and weighing systems, specifically designed for applications in a broad range of industries including transportation, shipping and receiving, as well as the printing and foundry industries. Today, LTS Scales can be seen in operation in virtually all segments of light and heavy manufacturing operations. Indicative of the company's design and manufacturing capabilities, quality control and performance standards, LTS Scale Corp. was the first company to receive legal for trade status or NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) certification for the company’s on-board weighing systems.

The LTS lift truck scale concept established the design standards for most of the mobile weighing systems available today, and is a principal entry in the LTS Lift Truck Scale product line. Lift Truck Scales manufactured by LTS feature a unique single load cell design that is extremely useful for a wide variety of shipping and receiving operations and applications in virtually every segment of the industrial marketplace. Since its introduction, the LTS standard lift truck scale has continually demonstrated superior load sample linearity, enhanced serviceability, as well as improved heel-to-toe/fork-to-fork accuracy. In addition, it's rugged design and construction offers a variety of safety features and can be built with a capacity of 50,000 pounds.

The LTS EnviroScale is a revolutionary new design concept developed specifically to mount on refuse or recyclable material collection trucks to weigh residential and/or commercial containers. The EnviroScale has also been certified as legal for trade (NTEP) on the semi-automated, fully-automated and front end loader systems. An ever increasing number of local, county and state service departments, as well as private haulers use Enviroscales as refuse collection scales. The system provides the hauler an accurate weighing system and permits the hauler to charge by weight rather than volume. The "charge-by-weight" trend is intended to encourage people in both the private and commercial sectors to recycle, resulting in less waste in the environment.

Hydroscale, acquired by LTS in 2000 and originally known as Hydroway, invented the original hydraulic mechanical crane scale in the 1940's. This superb weighing device enabled customers to lift and weigh in one easy step, thus saving time and money. Hydroway was bought and sold two more times, and eventually renamed Hydroscale in 1984. The product line expanded to include over 70 different units including Electronic models, NTEP Approved models, Radio Telemetry models and the original mechanical crane scale.

The Hydroscale Hydroscale crane scales and hook scales are utilized in aquaculture, molten metal foundries, steel plants, paper mills, airlines, all branches of the armed forces, the boat industry, mining, R & D laboratories, pharmaceuticals, the automotive industry, fishing tournaments, building construction, and the recycling industry to name a few.
