The LTS EnviroScale is a revolutionary new design concept developed specifically to mount on refuse or recyclable material collection trucks to weigh residential and/or commercial containers. The EnviroScale has also been certified as legal for trade (NTEP) on the semi-automated, fully-automated and front end loader systems. An every increasing number of local, county and state service departments, as well as private haulers use Enviroscales as refuse collection scales. The system provides solid waste collectors with an accurate weighing system and permits the hauler to charge by weight rather than volume. The "charge-by-weight" trend is intended to encourage people in both the private and commercial sectors to recycle, resulting in less waste in the environment.
