The purpose of our 30 Day Trial is to prove the dependability, efficiency, accuracy, and quality that our Precision Mobile Lift Truck Scales can provide your customers.
This policy applies to your qualified customers requesting our Standard Class II or III Scales only. Following are the guidelines required to obtain a trial scale system:
Issue a purchase order to LTS Scale Corporation for the complete scale and indicator system. The installation of the unit is to be handled at your discretion.
LTS Scale Corporation will invoice upon shipment, using our standard terms: Net 30 days. All systems are shipped, collect, FOB: Twinsburg, OH.
At the end of 30 Days, the customer has the option of returning the scale system to LTS, or making payment on the scale system and keeping it.
All returned systems are to be shipped to LTS freight prepaid.
If the customer would like to continue the trial period after 30 Days, they can rent the system at a rental charge of $950 per month. LTS would credit 50% of the rental charges toward the purchase of the system, up to a maximum of three (3) months.
In the event that the system is damaged due to abuse, LTS Scale Corporation has the option of charging for any necessary repairs.
Note: LTS does not have a demo fleet of scale systems. We build a new scale for every 30 Day Trial Scale that we send out.
Distributors can also purchase a scale system for demonstration purposes. LTS Scale Corporation would be happy to negotiate special terms and discounts for these units.
